PA Classics Reading U15 Academy Girls Head Coach

Amanda Bezner is a passionate soccer coach with experience at the collegiate, semi-professional, high school, and elite youth levels. She has been coaching since 2007. She currently serves as the Head Coach of Alvernia University Women’s Soccer, where she is dedicated to building a competitive, resilient program rooted in player development, accountability, and strong team culture.

In addition to her collegiate role, Coach Bezner is deeply involved in the youth and club soccer. She coaches with PA Classics Academy. She also serves as a coach with Reading United WPSL, gaining valuable experience at the semi-professional level and further expanding her understanding of the women’s game.

Her experience allows her to connect with players at all stages of development.

Beyond the field, Coach Bezner is highly respected for her commitment to mentorship and player development. She places a strong emphasis on leadership, character, academic success, and mental toughness, ensuring her athletes are prepared not only for the next level of soccer but for life beyond the game. She is also actively involved in recruiting, community service initiatives, and team-bonding experiences that foster a true family environment.

Family is at the heart of Coach Bezner’s coaching philosophy. She and her husband, Michael, are proud parents to their daughter, Mackenzie, who shares their love for soccer and community involvement. Being a wife and mother has deeply influenced Coach Bezner’s leadership style, reinforcing the importance of balance, empathy, and connection.
