We have now opened registration for this years upcoming Summer Select Program. Summer of 2024 will be our 3rd year of offering a Summer Program for both PA Classics & Central Pennsylvania Youth Soccer players looking to continue training & play while their normal club teams are on summer break.  Through a collaboration of PA Classics & Spooky Nook, the mission of the program is to provide a healthy environment for players to continue training & playing soccer during the summer months while receiving positive instruction from professional staff coaches.  Although the Summer Select teams will look & feel different than your regular club team it will offer value to your son's or daughter's development in the game. Opportunity for players to experience playing with some new players, different staff members and most importantly train and work with players from the NPSL & WPSL teams.

2024 SUMMER SELECT PROGRAM

• What is Summer Select?
  • Summer Select is a Five Week Program consisting of Ten Training Sessions & Two Events
  • Summer Select is coached & managed by PAC Staff Coaches and assisted by current & former collegian players that play for PA Classics  NPSL & WPSL teams.
  • Summer Select is a team environment including team training but set up to allow for flexibility for the summer months.
     
• When is Summer Select?
  • Summer Select will begin the week of June 17th, 2024.  
  • The goal is for two training sessions per week.  Training Sessions will be held Tuesday & Thursday from 5:30 - 7:00pm.
  • The intended event dates (tournament dates) weekends are:  TBD
     
• How to Try Out for a Summer Select Team?

  • Attend Summer Select Tryouts - (January 2024) See tryout dates & times below.
  • If placed on a Summer Select Team after Tryouts you will receive an invite to join the Team as well as Registration Material
     
• Summer Select Fee’s
  • Tryouts - $50 Non Refundable Tryout Fee
    • If you are selected for a team than that $50 will go towards your total Summer Select Fee
    • If you are not selected for a team then we will refund you the $50
  • Total Fee’s - $450
    • Includes Uniform / Registration Fee’s / Event Entry Fees
  • Discounts:
    • $50 off if you played last year and are able to use your same uniform
    • $100 off if you know by March 1st, 2024 that you will be missing one of the two events

WHO WILL COACH THE TEAMS?  PA Classics coaches plus players from our new NPSL and WPSL teams!

IS THIS PROGRAM ONLY FOR CURRENT PA CLASSICS PLAYERS?  No, absolutely not.  This program, just like our Classics Summer Camps, is open to all players regardless of club affiliation.

ARE THESE TRYOUTS CONNECTED TO THE REGULAR PA CLASSICS TRYOUTS FOR THEIR TRAVEL TEAMS?  No, this is a completely separate program that will be exclusive to the 5 weeks listed above.

WHERE WILL THE TRAINING SESSIONS BE HELD? Either Classics Soccer Park or Spooky Nook

WHAT IS THE AIM/GOAL OF THE SUMMER SELECT PROGRAM?  To provide committed players an opportunity to continue to develop their skills and overall game in a team setting during the summer. We will not field more then 2 teams in an age group.

WHICH AGE GROUP SHOULD WE REGISTER FOR?  Register for your child's current age group.  Think of the Summer Select Program as an extension of the Spring season.
